Designed by Don ChadwickBill Stumpf. When Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick designed the Herman Miller Aeron Chair (1994/2016), they combined a deep knowledge of human-centered design with never-before-seen technology to create a task chair unlike any other. Now Aeron has been remastered in practically every way, resulting in an office chair that better supports people and the work we do today. With the help of Don Chadwick, Herman Miller updated Aeron to incorporate 20 years of research in the science of sitting, as well as advancements in materials. The Aeron Work Stool is perfect for architects and designers who sit at drafting tables and tall desks. Its fitted with an 8Z Pellicle elastomeric suspension seat that offers eight latitudinal zones of varying tension and permits free air circulation, a tilt mechanism that moves smoothly from forward tilt to backward recline and a height-adjustable footrest for comfortable extended sitting. Aeron supports you through your entire range of motion, keeping your movements smooth and balanced. This is the authentic Aeron Work Stool by Herman Miller. Constructed of 53% recycled materials, Aeron is 89% recyclable. Measurements: H 45.75″49.25″ W 27″ D 27″ SEAT H 24.75″29.25″.
