The Notre Dame Herman Miller Aeron Mesh Office Desk Chair is a high-quality, sleek office chair designed for use in a professional office setting. Don Chadwick, designer of the Herman Miller Aeron chair, lends his name and design hand to the Knoll Chadwick chair. The clean, simple design minimizes user controls to two points of manual adjustment (seat height and recline tension). Remaining adjustments are handled by the Chadwick chair’s spring-loaded Active Suspension mechanism which synchronizes recline and tilt tension, opening the users torso on recline and maintaining contact with the user and the seat back. The tight-woven mesh fabric ventilates while conforming to each individuals curves. This personal fit minimizes pressure points and reduces sitting fatigue. Knoll Chadwick Chair Features. Suspension fabric’s elastomeric construction conforms to your body’s shape, reducing pressure points while offering comfort and air flow. Variable seat depth automatically adjusts to fit almost everyone (range of 16.9″ – 19.4″). Flexing armpads are designed like a suspension bridge so they flex to offer additional “give” to eliminate pressure points on your arms. Standard, adjustable arms offer lever-free 2.5″ height adjustment range and 1″ width adjustment (0.5 inward or outward). Soft molded tension adjustment knob ensures each user approximately 17 levels of customized comfort when reclining.
